Drive IT Operational Excellence: As a transformative leader, you will be pivotal in continuously enhancing the daily operations of the IT function. Design and Implement our Next-Gen Digital Infrastructure: Lead the charge in designing, developing, and futureproofing GTAA’s next-generation digital platforms and IT computing infrastructure as part of Toronto Pearson Long-Term Investments in Facilities and Terminals (LIFT). You will execute a unified enterprise architecture strategy that supports efficient, agile, and effective delivery of business products.

Operate a High-Performance Shared Services Function: You will be instrumental in designing and staffing a suite of shared services that enables IT to transition to agile project and vendor management, infuse seamless and sustainable change management, and upskill our workforce through an advanced technical training program.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking an individual with expert knowledge in IT operations, enterprise composable platform design and deployment, and automation-enabled asset life cycle management. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience working with third-party managed services, demonstrating the ability to direct and enhance business impact beyond standard service level agreements.

The candidate should possess extensive experience in overseeing enterprise architectural design for complex engineered systems that involve significant external interfaces. They should bring a strong innovative mindset and a future vision for transformation, supported by a proven track record of designing and implementing innovative technology stacks within complex, multi-layered operating environments.

This is the role for you, if you have:

  • ITIL-certified or equivalent.
  • 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise technology operations, multi-cloud platform management, with at least five years in a director role overseeing cross-functional technology teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering complex, multi-year technology programs with internal and third-party delivery partners.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex, multi-tiered managed service providers.

Airport Police Officer (Lateral)

The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) is seeking experienced law enforcement officers to join the Airport Police force to perform specialized law enforcement duties focusing on aviation security and safety. This Lateral Police Officer position is critical in maintaining public safety, fostering community engagement, and upholding departmental standards. At the RTAA, the Airport Police team is a key member of the Operations & Public Safety Department. Airport Police Officers are primarily responsible for performing general law enforcement duties and other emergency response to help provide the public with a safe experience while traveling through the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. The nature of the work requires the ability to act without immediate supervision and exercise independent judgment in emergency situations, and to have strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with a diverse population.

Examples of Job Duties:

• Patrol designated areas of the airport to preserve law, order, and public safety; checks airport facilities for physical security and ensure compliance with the approved airport security program.

• Respond to service calls and complaints including civil complaints, property control, automobile crashes, and related misdemeanor and felony incidents.

Minimum Qualifications:

● At least three (3) years of sworn law enforcement patrol experience.

● High School Diploma or GED.

● A valid driver’s license is required at the time of application.

● Current Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) Category I Basic Certification. If P.O.S.T. certification is from another state, applicants will be required to obtain a State of Nevada P.O.S.T. certificate within 24 months of hire.

● Meet the current NAC 289.110 Minimum standards for appointment for a Peace Officer in the State of Nevada.

Airports Operations Supervisor

Position Description

The City of Fresno is currently recruiting for a dynamic Supervising Airports Operations Officer.

Under supervision from the Airports Operations Manager, incumbents perform advanced and complex duties related to Airport operations management, inspections and compliance; plans, coordinates, supervises and evaluates the work of assigned staff; maintains department compliance  and monitors  and interpret a variety of federal, state and local airport regulations for updates, policy changes and new regulations.  Monitors and inspects the airfield, terminal, perimeter, grounds and personnel to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAA), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and Airport rules and regulations, and reports deficient conditions for correction.

Currently there are two vacancies in the Airport/Operations Department located at the Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT). Immediate and future vacancies will be filled from this eligible list for a period of three (3) months from the date the eligible list is created, with the option of extending that period for up to a maximum of two years at the City’s discretion. The Requirements

Essential Job Duties

Performs airfield, perimeter and terminal inspections, enforcing airport rules and regulations. Provides customer assistance, and other operations and emergency response coordination. Inspects airfield, terminal, perimeter and grounds for compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, Transportation Security Administration Regulations, airport rules and regulations, leases and agreements. Minimum Training and Experience

Possession of at least an associate’s degree in aviation management, business or public administration, communications, criminal justice, or a related field and one year of experience in aviation, law enforcement, firefighting, emergency management or communications, military service, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Position Summary

Role description

The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is hiring an Aviation Security & Regulatory Compliance Manager. The Aviation Security & Regulatory Compliance Manager is responsible for championing, managing, and continually enhancing robust aviation security programs, which includes developing, implementing, and maintaining procedures and controls to ensure secure airport operations and compliance with federal and other laws and regulations. Identify, develop, recommend, and implement aviation security and compliance policies and procedures to achieve security excellence throughout the airport; approve ASP amendments and change conditions; approve plans, procedures, drawings, and provide security related requirements for airport construction projects and existing facilities.
  9. Promote teamwork and innovation in airport security by demonstrating leadership consistence with established core values.
  10. Develop the vision and strategic planning for aviation security and compliance programs in order to deliver on the airport’s mission and overall goals; lead cross-functional work groups and committees to further the airport’s objectives.

How to qualify
Education: Possession of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university; AND
Experience: Five (5) years of professional-level experience in aviation operations, of which three (3) years must include airport or air carrier security management experience overseeing regulatory and compliance issues and three (3) years supervising professionals; AND
License and Certification: Possession of or ability to obtain a valid California driver’s license prior to employment.

Education Substitution: Additional qualifying full-time work experience (2000 hours equal one year) as described above may substitute up to two (2) years of the required education. One (1) year of work experience equals to 30 semester units or 45 quarter units.

3 Assists, supports, and helps airlines with various requests, fuel or lavatory spill calls, custodial spills, and appropriate reporting methods for incidents; effectively uses communications software and systems to send messages to personnel and handle personnel or patron situations.

Enterprise Director of Planning – FLL

The Broward County Aviation Department (BCAD) seeks an Enterprise Director of Planning (EDP) who will be responsible for overseeing and directing all planning activities within BCAD, ensuring the strategic planning of the airports’ master plans, long-range plans, Airport Layout Plans (ALP), and the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). The EDP is a key member of the Senior Team who reports to the Capital Project Management Administrator.

Following the approval of the master plans in 2020, BCAD is actively developing projects outlined within the plans.
