Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be sent to meetings@airportscouncil.org no later than December 27, 2024. Registration fees are refundable but subject to a $100 administrative fee. Our keynote speaker is none other than the young Lieutenant, Dan Pedersen, call sign “Yank,” who formed the world-famous fighter squadron, “Top Gun” (Naval Weapons Fighter School at NAS Miramar, San Diego, CA) in 1969. Top Gun marked its’ 50th anniversary in 2019 and Dan Pedersen, wrote the book, “Top Gun | An American Story,” a book that highlights how he took a shoestring budget, picked a group of fighter pilots, and revolutionized the art of aerial engagement and combat. Top Gun emerged as an icon of military air dominance that has shaped and continues to shape the nations’ military air combat strategy for generations to come. In addition, you will hear that Top Gun is not just about aerial combat, but also leadership strategies that can be used in an everyday environment.

Lindsey Roeschke
Lindsey Roeschke leads industry analysis for the travel & hospitality sector at decision intelligence company Morning Consult, where she built the firm’s library of travel content from the ground up. In her role, she conducts primary research, authors analyses and advises leaders in the travel & hospitality industry on how to apply insights to make better business decisions. An influential voice in the industry, Lindsey has provided travel analysis for major media outlets including the New York Times, CNN, Marketplace on NPR, CNBC, and many others.
Prior to joining Morning Consult, she served as a director of consumer and culture analysis at Gartner, where she focused on behavior and expectations in travel, particularly through a generational and cultural lens. In addition to her research and advisory background, Lindsey has more than a decade of experience in the advertising world, having lived and worked on four continents. She currently resides in Kampala, Uganda, and spends her weekends exploring East Africa with her family.
