Royce Holden

Royce is the CISO / AVP of Technology Security and Compliance with the DFW International Airport. He provides strategic direction for the safeguard of DFW’s information assets. He has over 27 years’ experience in Cybersecurity, IT strategic planning and executive administration. He has worked and consulted for over 20 commercial aviation airports in the U.S. and abroad. He has worked his way up through the ranks of technology positions, starting in 1996 as a Technology Specialist, working through becoming a Database Administrator, Network Engineer, IT Manager, and Chief Information Officer. His areas of expertise include planning, configuring, and managing IT systems, including security controls, and adhering to industry standards through Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (GRC). He continues to contribute to the industry through various leadership and volunteer efforts, including international speaking engagements in over 10 countries. Currently he serves as a Vice Chair on the AAAE Transportation Security Services (TSS) committee, is a member of the ACI-World Cybersecurity Task Force, a member on the governing body of the Dallas CISO community and has served as past chairman of the Airport’s Council International (ACI) Business Information Technology (BIT) committee. He has been a panel member and Principal Investigator for multiple ACRP and Safe Skies Alliance guidebooks regarding the cyber-physical world of airport technology and has held the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification since 2013.
