From record-breaking passenger growth and a terminal expansion to a global pandemic that saw traffic evaporate, Kate has steered the Fredericton International Airport’s communications and marketing with a calm hand through turbulent times. By maintaining focus on the airport’s mission and brand Kate ensures continued support from the airport’s community and key stakeholders while also guiding the airport authority’s lobbying efforts and strategic direction, distilling complex information into clear and compelling communications. A lifelong learner with over 20 years of experience in government, post-secondary education, and not-for-profit organizations, her passion is bringing ideas from diverse industries and disciplines together in new ways, balancing the big picture with tactical details. She is currently Chair of the Steering Group for the Airports Council International – North America Marketing and Communications Committee. An avid writer, photographer, and traveller, Kate is always looking forward to her next trip… and to exploring new airports along the way.
