Gaël Le Bris, C.M., P.E. is Vice President, Aviation Planning & Senior Technical Principal with WSP USA. He supervises aviation system and airport planning projects, and provides expertise in aviation engineering, operations, and safety in the U.S. and abroad. Mr. Le Bris and his team have been at the forefront of advanced air mobility, conducting innovative research efforts and practical implementation projects across the nation. He was the principal investigator for ACRP Research Report 239: Preparing Your Airport for Electric Aircraft & Hydrogen Technologies, as well as one of the lead authors of ACRP Research Report 243: An Airport-Centric Study of the Urban Air Mobility Market. Mr. Le Bris holds master’s degrees in aeronautical engineering and economics from the National University of Civil Aviation (ENAC) (Toulouse, France) as well as in airport development and management from the Florida Institute of Technology (Melbourne, FL). He is the chair of TRB’s AV090 Aviation Safety, Security and Emergency Management Standing Committee, as well as an active member of the Airport Consultants Council, SAE International, and the Vertical Flight Society.
