Airports Council Congratulates President Joe Biden on Inauguration as the 46th President of the United States

WASHINGTON – Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA) President and CEO Kevin M. Burke today congratulated President Joe Biden on his inauguration as the 46th president of the United States. ACI-NA is the trade association representing commercial service airports in the United States and Canada.

“America’s airports congratulate President Joe Biden on his inauguration as the 46th president of the United States. We look forward to working with the Biden administration on a wide range of aviation issues as the entire travel industry continues efforts to help keep people healthy and safe through the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Airports are the economic engines of communities across the United States, and our entire industry has been ravaged by the steep and sustained drop in passenger travel resulting from the pandemic. Investing in our nation’s aging airport infrastructure will be a key step toward getting our economy moving again. We will also work closely with the administration on health and safety measures to keep passengers and workers safe. We are eager to build this new partnership with the incoming Biden administration and will continue our efforts to ensure the aviation industry remains a top priority for our nation’s leaders in the years to come.”
