ACI-NA Congratulates Shaffer on FAA Assistant Administrator Appointment

WASHINGTON – ACI-NA President and CEO Kevin M. Burke today congratulated Kirk Shaffer on his appointment to serve as Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Assistant Administrator for the Office of Airports. The FAA Office of Airports is responsible for overseeing the administration of essential aviation programs like safety inspections and certifications, the Airport Improvement Program, and the Passenger Facility Charge program.

“The FAA Office of Airports is an important partner for the airport industry as we work to ensure the safe, secure, and efficient movement of people and goods. I congratulate Kirk on his appointment and look forward to working alongside him to advance the airport industry by promoting safety and efficiency in all aspects of airport operations.”
