ACI-NA Congratulates R. Gil Kerlikowske on Confirmation as CBP Commissioner

WASHINGTON—Airports Council International-North America (ACI-NA) today issued the following statement in response to the confirmation of R. Gil Kerlikowske as commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP):

“ACI-NA congratulates Commissioner Kerlikowske on his confirmation to lead U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and we look forward to developing a strong relationship with him,” said ACI-NA President and CEO Kevin M. Burke.  “Ensuring that CBP has the appropriate funding for screening at air ports of entry is a priority for ACI-NA, and we’re eager to work together with Commissioner Kerlikowske and CBP to better make our international airports an exceptional experience for arriving passengers.”
