ACI-NA Congratulates NTSB Chairwoman Deborah Hersman on Appointment to Head the National Safety Council

WASHINGTON—Airports Council International-North America (ACI-NA) today issued the following statement on the announcement by National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Chairwoman Deborah Hersman that she will become the next president and CEO of the National Safety Council:

“Thanks to the leadership of Chairwoman Hersman, NTSB has become an even stronger advocate for the traveling public,” said ACI-NA President and CEO Kevin M. Burke.  “ACI-NA’s member airports and the millions of passengers they serve have benefitted greatly from Chairwoman Hersman’s and NTSB’s collaborative efforts to improve transportation safety, and we congratulate her on her appointment to lead the National Safety Council.”
