ACI-NA Congratulates Pekoske on TSA Selection

WASHINGTON – Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA) President and CEO Kevin M. Burke today congratulated U.S. Coast Guard Vice Commandant David P. Pekoske on his selection as President Donald J. Trump’s nominee for Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

“The top priority for airports is ensuring the safety and security of the traveling public, which is best achieved through effective collaboration between airports, airlines, federal law enforcement agencies, and other aviation industry stakeholders.  Vice Commandant Pekoske’s proven track record of mission-focused operational efficiency and management is essential to strengthening a risk-based approached to aviation security.  ACI-NA looks forward to working with Vice Commandant Pekoske following his confirmation by the U.S. Senate.”
