The Tri-Cities Airport Authority is seeking an FBO General Manager to play a key leadership role in overseeing the daily operations and long-term success of the FBO facility. This executive-level position is responsible for fuel and hangar sales, line services, customer service and retention, staffing, and compliance with all environmental, safety, and quality standards. The General Manager ensures smooth and efficient FBO operations while cultivating a service-oriented culture and maintaining strong relationships with airport stakeholders and customers.
Reporting directly to the President/CEO, the FBO General Manager is accountable for managing personnel, finances, facilities, and customer engagement in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a strong presence across operations while advancing business goals and revenue growth.
Key responsibilities include:
· Lead all aspects of FBO operations including customer service, fueling, hangar management, and facility oversight
· Manage P&L functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditures
· Maintain competitive awareness through ongoing analysis of pricing and service offerings
· Develop and strengthen relationships with customers, airport officials, and community stakeholders
· Recruit, train, and supervise FBO staff, ensuring high performance and compliance
· Administer performance evaluations and address employee relations matters
· Promote a safety-first environment and ensure compliance with all environmental and operational standards
· Ensure internal communication and consistent training in company policies, service standards, and values
Position Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business, or related field
· 3–5 years of progressive FBO leadership experience
· Demonstrated experience in operational and financial management
· Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based systems
· Ability to interact effectively with internal teams, regulatory agencies, and external partners
· Completion of AAAE Accredited Airport Executive (ACE) Operations within two years of hire
Salary & Benefits
