
The Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission
The Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission is seeking a Chief Infrastructure Officer to provide executive leadership for the planning, development, management and maintenance of the Airport’s physical and technological infrastructure. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the CIO ensures that facilities, systems, and capital projects align with the Airport’s strategic goals, regulatory requirements, and commitment to sustainability. This role is central to advancing technical and operational efficiency, capacity enhancement and safety through both infrastructure management and technology integration.
Key responsibilities include:
· Develop and implement long-term infrastructure strategies supporting growth and sustainability.
· Manage capital and operating budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.
· Oversee large-scale projects such as terminal expansions, runway construction, facility upgrades and technology implementation.
· Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and environmental regulations.
· Promote adoption of advanced technologies including smart building systems and data-driven infrastructure tools.
· Lead initiatives that advance sustainable design, energy efficiency, and environmental stewardship.
· Serve as liaison to stakeholders, effectively communicating project progress and operational impacts.
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Airport Management, Architecture, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
· At least ten (10) years of executive-level leadership at a small or medium hub commercial service airport.
· Equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates an extensive knowledge of managing multiple airport infrastructures may be considered in lieu of these requirements.
· Demonstrated success managing multimillion dollar capital improvement programs.
· Expertise in compliance, risk management, and sustainability practices.
· Strong record of building effective teams and fostering professional development.
· Ability to represent the Airport with credibility before government, regulatory, and industry group.
Salary and Benefits
The starting salary for this position is $185,000- $245,000 with an excellent benefit package. An exceptional candidate may be eligible to receive a starting salary that exceeds the range with approvals by the Airport Commission.
