The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities seeks an Airport Manager for the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC). The candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of FAA regulations, TSA guidelines, and other relevant aviation laws, ensuring regulatory compliance. They should have a proven ability in emergency response and crisis management, coordinating with various agencies to ensure safety. Strong financial acumen is essential, with experience in budget planning and management. The candidate should be committed to exceptional customer service, strategic planning, and development, with a history of enhancing airport facilities and services. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required for effective stakeholder interaction. The candidate should also have strong project management skills, problem-solving abilities, technological proficiency, and experience in public relations and community engagement.

Salary & Benefits

The starting salary is targeted to be between $200,000 – $250,000 coupled with an attractive benefit package. A starting salary above this range may be achievable for the exceptional candidate.
