Forming part of the Port of Seattle, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (“SEA”, “the Airport”) serves the people of the Pacific Northwest with essential services, access to hundreds of domestic and global destinations, and economic activity that supports tens of thousands of jobs and produces $33 billion in economic activity.  SEA set a record with over 52.6 million passengers in 2024 – with a forecast to grow further in 2025.  Thirty-seven airlines serve 94 nonstop domestic and 38 international destinations including Canada and Mexico.  SEA continues to add services with eight international destinations added in the last year.  SEA has earned the travel industry’s prestigious 4-Star Skytrax Rating and designation as Best Airport in North America three years in a row (2022-24), focused on customer-centered travel with better services, facilities, and amenities.

The Managing Director – Aviation Division at the Port of Seattle Executive is responsible for the operation, growth, and development, of the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport pursuant to and consistent with the policies established by the Port and its Port Commission.  This is an at-will position that is a direct report to the Port’s Executive Director.

The position is based in the greater Seattle-Tacoma area and involves occasional domestic and international travel.
