Tuesday, July 21 from 1:00 PM – 2:15 PM Eastern Time
In this time of rapid change and unprecedented challenges for the aviation industry, it’s never been more important to share information and best practices. ACI-NA and AAAE have teamed up to transform the Airport Safety Management Systems Workshop into a virtual series.
But first, is your airport ready to implement an airport SMS program? An SMS program is not a ‘one size fits all’ concept. Rather, each program is uniquely tailored based upon an airport’s organizational culture, processes, procedures, size and overall complexity.
During this session, attendees will learn, from early airport SMS implementers, best practices/lessons learned on how to get started and overcome challenges related to creating an airport SMS program. Additionally, panelists will focus on SMS theory and best practices related to right sizing/instilling in into airport operational practices.
