Biography

Renie Subin joined ACI-NA in May 2023 as the Senior Director, Technology and External Affairs.  In this capacity, she supports the Environmental Affairs team in their efforts to advocate for and promote member airport concerns and interests regarding environmental issues and sustainability.  Renie is also the committee secretary for the ACI-NA Business Information Technology (BIT) Committee.

As the BIT Committee Secretary, Renie actively contributes to advancing the business-driven technology agenda for airports in North America. She leads initiatives aimed at developing innovative airport technology-based service models and collaborates with members and partners to establish a comprehensive airport technology agenda for the industry.  Through her strategic efforts, Renie strives to drive meaningful progress and ensure the successful integration of cutting-edge technologies within the airport domain.

Renie is an experienced professional with over 23 years of expertise as a Senior Commercial Specialist with the U.S. Department of Commerce (USDOC).  In this role, Renie actively worked on addressing policy and regulatory challenges faced by U.S. companies across diverse sectors in the South Asian market, effectively advancing U.S. commercial interests in the region.  In addition to her work on advocacy and market entry strategies, Renie has extensive experience collaborating with U.S government agencies and trade associations for organizing industry-focused trade shows, international trade delegations, trade missions, webinars, workshops, and conferences.

Renie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Software Engineering (PGDE).
