Kathleen Henderson

Biography
Currently the Senior Director of Operations, Environment and Regulatory Affairs for the Canadian Airports Council, Kathleen Henderson has varied aviation experience in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Nunavut and the Northwest Territories. She has worked for air carriers, airport authorities, territorial and federal governments as well as being a community emergency manager, entrepreneur, business owner and consultant. Kathleen has a broad range of airport operations experience in addition to emergency response, SMS, auditing, commercial leasing, airport security, project management and training. She is actively involved as the volunteer Airport Ambassador for Elevate Aviation, a non-profit organization promoting women in aviation and providing mentorship.
Kathleen graduated from University of North Dakota’s Aeronautical Studies program with an FAA Commercial/Instrument designation and a Canadian Private Pilot’s Licence.
