Statement by ACI-NA President and CEO Kevin M. Burke

WASHINGTON– Airports Council International-North America (ACI-NA) President and CEO Kevin M. Burke today issued the following statement:

“Airports work hard to serve the passengers traveling through their terminals every day. We are proud of the work we do to build cooperative relationships between the traveling public and the government agencies that use airport facilities to ensure the safety and security of our country. Today’s announcement by the Obama Administration regarding enhanced screening for Ebola by U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is a positive step in protecting health and security without impeding travel. Airports will continue to actively coordinate with government and public health officials as they continue to serve their passengers.”
