WASHINGTON – Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA) President and CEO Kevin M. Burke today marked the fifteenth anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terror attacks.
“Today, the aviation community remembers those who lost their lives or were injured on September 11, 2001. Those unspeakable events fifteen years ago profoundly changed how we examine important aviation security issues and the airport role in providing the safest and most secure travel experience possible. While today is a day of remembrance, airports continue to work with government, airline and law enforcement partners to address security challenges.”
