ACI-NA Annual Conference & Exhibition Named ‘Fastest Growing’ Show

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
April 16, 2015

WASHINGTON – Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA) today announced its Annual Conference and Exhibition has been identified as one of the 50 fastest growing trade shows in the United States by Trade Show Executive.  The achievement stems from outstanding growth in attendance, increase in exhibits, and expansion of the trade show floor. ACI-NA will be recognized May 19 – 21, 2015, at the Fastest 50 Awards and Summit in Chicago. ACI-NA also announced the dates of the 2015 ACI-NA Annual Conference and Exhibition.

“Industry support for the ACI-NA Annual Conference and Exhibition continues to grow because of the high priority our members place on having an impactful forum to discuss challenges and collaborate around solutions,” said ACI-NA President and CEO Kevin M. Burke.  “On one side, our members participate in insightful conversations about the significant challenges airports face in a modern and competitive world. On the other side, our exhibit floor is packed with innovative solutions that help airports overcome those challenges. The mutual exchange that occurs during the show is the real value for the industry.”

The 2014 ACI-NA Annual Conference and Exhibition was attended by more than 2,000 attendees and 145 exhibitors. The four day event included trade floor demonstrations and exhibits, solution showcases, innovative thought leadership keynote and panel sessions, and enhanced networking opportunities. In addition, ACI-NA members were able to participate in issue-specific workshops and committee meetings before the show commenced.  Beginning today, industry stakeholders can begin registering for the 2015 ACI Annual Conference and Exhibition, which will be held October 4 – 7, 2015, in Long Beach, CA.

“Following the immense success of the 2014 ACI-NA Annual Conference and Exhibition in Atlanta, there is wonderful momentum leading into our 2015 Annual Conference and Exhibition in Long Beach,” said Burke. “We are looking forward to bringing airport decision makers together with the industry’s solution providers for an even more exciting year. We have already sold out more than 70 percent of our exhibit space.”
