Compliance Director

SkyCity is seeking a Compliance Director to oversee and advance regulatory and agreement compliance across airport operations of Cyril E. King and Henry E. Rohlsen Airports as part of a dynamic Public-Private Partnership. This position will focus on regulatory compliance requirements with aerodrome certification, project and tenant/operator agreements, and ensures appropriate and effective document management. This role is responsible for ensuring safety, operational integrity, and adherence to all applicable FAA regulations and internal standards. The Director will work across departments to monitor compliance activities; lead operational business audits; maintain quality control of product, service, and process; and develop, monitor, and manage operational key performance indicators for the organization and for other business partners. The individual in this role will contribute to strategic initiatives that improve airport performance.

Key Responsibilities include:

·        Identify and monitor compliance with applicable federal, state, and local operating regulations, standards, and internal procedures.

·        Lead internal operating and quality assurance audits and coordinate external audit programs with business partners and tenants.

·        Aid in the development of corrective action plans and confirm implementation.

·        Oversee document management and ensure updates to manuals, checklists, and technical documents.

·        Provide support and oversight of the airports’ safety management system program.

·        Oversee staff training programs to ensure compliance and competency.

·        Collect, analyze, and report data across multiple airports, focusing on safety, environmental, and efficiency metrics.

·        Support strategic initiatives, risk assessments, capital expenditure evaluations, efficiency processes, and airport master planning efforts.

Preferred Qualifications

·        Post-secondary education in aviation, business, performance measurement and benchmarking, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

·        In-depth knowledge of U.S. Aviation Regulations for safety, security, environmental purposes, and safety management system programs.

·        Strong proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

·        Familiarity with airport operations software and documentation standards.

·        Extensive exposure and broad-based experience in an aviation or airport environment.

·        Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

·        Ability to travel periodically to airport sites as needed.
