Some of what you’ll be doing:
As the Aviation Chief Revenue & Business Officer, you will lead, maximize, and diversify all revenues streams for SEA airport. You will lead the commercial strategy across aviation and non-aviation revenue sources, ensuring financial sustainability, growth, and passenger satisfaction.

  • You will use data analytics to analyze consumer behavior, forecast revenue, and set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for revenue-generating teams.
  • You will work closely with SEA Directors and Port Executive Staff and cultivate and maintain strong relationships with airlines, concessionaires, developers, and government agencies, to foster a collaborative culture.
  • You will foster a performance-driven and collaborative culture by leading, coaching and mentoring direct reports.
  • You will develop and execute the long-term commercial and revenue strategy for SEA airport including developing and executing comprehensive revenue strategies to set revenue targets and maximize revenue streams, including (but not limited to) concessions, parking, leasing, and advertising.
  • You will partner closely with the Chief Financial Officer and Aviation Finance & Budget to align revenue strategies with financial planning, ensure accurate forecasting, optimize resource allocation, and drive sustainable, data-informed business growth.
  • You will oversee the SLOA (Signatory Lease and Operating Agreement) negotiations in partnership with the Managing Director SEA and Aviation Finance & Budget.
  • You will monitor sales performance, implement revenue enhancement programs, and ensure optimization of concession mix and commercial space utilization.
  • You will identify and evaluate public-private partnerships (PPPs) opportunities including project structuring, financial feasibility analysis, risk allocation and performance oversight.
  • You will develop and maintain ongoing revenue performance metrics for all revenue producing assets under management and produce regular reports for SEA Executive leaders and other stakeholders.
  • You will represent the airport in commercial negotiations and industry forums.

Who you are:

  • Experienced – You have eight (8) years of experience in aviation, airport commercial management, or similar high volume, multi revenue environments, with responsibility for managing and growing revenue, budgets, or portfolios with measurable financial impact. You also have four (4) years of leadership experience in managing staff responsible for overseeing revenue operations, commercial programs and/or property development functions, including accountability for team performance, budgets and delivery of defined financial or operational targets.
  • Desired – We hope you have bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or economics, and/or have any of the following licenses/certifications: American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) Certified Member (CM), American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) Accredited Airport Executive (AAE), and/or Airport Council International (ACI) U.S. Airport Professional (USAP).

What else you need to know: 

  • Work Schedule – Your normal work schedule will be Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week). Slightly more flexible start and end times are available in this role.
  • Work Environment – This work will take place in a hybrid/in-office setting at Management’s discretion.
  • Washington State Residency Requirement – Employees must establish a residence in Washington state within 30 days of their first day of employment and must maintain a residence in Washington State during their employment with the Port of Seattle. If a position is eligible to telework, work performed while teleworking must be performed in Washington State.
  • Security Requirements – As the successful candidate, you must pass a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background check as well as a criminal history background check with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Your employment will be contingent upon obtaining a Port of Seattle ID badge upon clearance.
