Providing industry thought leadership on key climate, energy and transportation issues facing the DFW Airport, metroplex and nation, Robert brings a strategic leadership focus with a proven record evidenced by key domestic and global awards for DFW Airport including: First Carbon Neutral Airport in North America and Largest Airport in the World to Achieve Carbon Neutrality to date (ACI-NA) awarded in 2016, and Climate Leadership Award for Organizational Leadership (EPA, Center for Climate and Energy Solutions and The Climate Registry) awarded in 2016 and 2017. *Only international airport recognized for two consecutive years.
Key Liaison to public interest groups, federal, state, and local regulatory agencies, including the FAA, NASA, and EPA.
An influential leader on environmental and sustainability issues and a trusted advisor for key industry leaders, policymakers, and global influencers and serve as the current Non-Road Vehicles (Airports and Seaports) Technical Committee Chair for the Alliance to Save Energy’s U.S. Commission on Transportation Sector Efficiency.
Bio
Brandon is the Chair of the Advisory Council of the US Green Building Council and a member of the Board of Directors. He has a PhD in Engineering Systems, is a registered Professional Engineer and a LEED Accredited Professional.
