Finance Committee Work Plan

Support the ACI-NA strategic initiative to develop a long-term funding strategy for airports to achieve financial autonomy in the face of government policy and regulatory creep, by enhancing the ability of airports to continue necessary infrastructure improvements and communicating the airport value proposition (economic impact, contribution to GDP, jobs, etc.).

• 2026 Business of Airports Conference – June 22-24, 2026 in Salt Lake City, UT
  • June 22, 2026 – Finance Committee/Working Group meetings
• 2026 ACI-NA Annual Conference & Exhibition – September 14-17, 2026 in Philadelphia, PA
  • o Full Committee/Working Group meetings – September 14, 2026

1. Prepare ACRP Problem Statements addressing airport financial issues.
2. Brief the Committee on upcoming ACRP projects to ensure participation in project panels.

1. Support the campaign to preserve the tax exemption of municipal bonds.
2. Support eliminating AMT on airport bonds.
3. Support uncapped PFC and PFC program enhancements.
4. Support AIP program enhancements.

1. Continue monthly CFO calls to facilitate information exchange among airport members.
2. Conduct monthly steering group and working group calls to facilitate information exchange among members of the steering group and working groups to continue to advance the 2026 work plan projects.
3. Conduct periodic webinars as supplemental information exchange regarding urgent issues or general topics of interest.
4. Enhance the capabilities and use of the Finance Committee Resource Library as a central place for committee members to access resource materials, sample documents, and survey reports.
5. Establish liaisons with other ACI-NA Committees to keep abreast of common issues.
