Develop an Air Cargo Committee strategic plan and outline SMART (S-specific, M-measurable, A- attainable, R- realistic, T- time bound) goals/objectives.
- Continue industry outreach to various stakeholders in air cargo operations (e.g. airlines, government, forwarders, shippers, developers and manufacturers) to enable airports and their partners to better understand relevant market conditions and revise their business strategy as appropriate
- Develop a message plan and strategy utilizing the expertise in the Industry Affairs Working Group for a regional production for the Steering Group members for promotion to secondary and undergraduate students
- Develop the next generation of Air Cargo Managers and/or educate those airports interested in improving their air cargo service
- Identify current trends and potential impacts on airports and possible strategic responses to increased levels of service for tenants and other cargo communities
- Technology and Innovation and Environmental Sustainability
- Monitor and address ongoing supply chain disruptions relevant to the Air Cargo industry
- Improve collaboration among other industry trade associations on issues that pertain to Air Cargo, to increase learning and business development opportunities for the membership. (e.g. TIACA, Pharam.aero, IATA, Cold Chain Association, AfA, AEMCA, etc.)
- Continue to grow working relationship with Airports Council International – Latin America (ACI-LAC), Airports Council International – Europe (ACI-Europe) and their member airports, increase outreach to airports in Mexico and leverage the USMCA Free Trade agreement to share information, best practices and explore growth opportunities
- Continue to deliver and improve webinars and conferences, creating new and relevant learning opportunities

o Promote greater diversity and inclusion within the air cargo industry in promoting and developing the next generation of Air Cargo Managers
• Review, edit and update current Air Cargo Operations Development Manual as published for 2025 and beyond

This Group leads outreach to industry airports to encourage participation and increase engagement in the Committee. Work will include developing a compelling value proposition for airports to join and actively engage as well as identification of key issues that may adversely impact the ability or inclination of airports to participate.
The two primary objectives are:

- Benchmarks
- To contact targeted airports, Ground/Cargo Handlers and World Business Partners/Associates
- Develop a message plan and strategy utilizing the expertise in the Industry Affairs Working Group for a Regional production for the Steering Group members for promotion to Secondary and undergraduate students

- Conduct quarterly performance reviews/updates on Committee’s progress to obtain critical feedback for continuous improvement
