This is my first time attending, what should I expect?

This conference brings together airport professionals and businesses that serve airports to attend outstanding education sessions and networking opportunities.  In addition, there is an exhibition hall that showcases the latest and greatest products and services.
You can expect to meet and network with many of the nation’s and world’s leading minds in aviation, and receive education and information on the latest trends and issues.

Do I have to be a member to attend?

You do not have to be a member to attend the conference.  Any and all aviation professionals are welcome.  Please refer to the registration tab to view the conference rates.

How do I become an exhibitor?

If you are interested in becoming an exhibitor please contact Brad Lewis, blewis@showmgmt.com and/or visit the Exhibit tab for more information about fees, deadlines, etc.

How much does it cost to register?

Please refer to the Registration tab to view the registration fees and deadlines.

What if I registered, but can no longer attend? Can I send someone else in my place?

If you cancel your registration by 5pm EDT August 2, 2019, you can receive a refund.  Any cancellations received after this date will be charged a $100 cancellation fee.  No cancellations will be accepted after August 2, 2019, for any reason, however substitutions will be accepted at any time. Any refunds due will be processed after the event has concluded.

How can I obtain a Visa letter?

To request a visa letter please email meetings@airportscouncil.org.

Is there a cut-off date to register before the conference?

The cut-off date to receive the early bird registration rate is August 2, 2019.  Pre-Registration will close on August 23, 2019.  If you have not yet registered by that date, you will have to register onsite.

Is it possible to purchase a floor pass or pay to visit the exhibit hall only?

There is a one-day pass registration.  Please refer to the registration tab to view the fees.

Who do I contact with registration questions?

Can I register on-site?

Yes, on-site registration will be available beginning Friday, September 14. A detailed schedule of on-site registration will follow at a later date.

Can I register online with a check?

No, you must use a credit card or debit card in order to register online.

How far are the hotels from the Tampa Convention Center?

All hotels are less than a five-minute walk to the Tampa Convention Center.

Is there a designated headquarters hotel? What if the hotel I want to stay at is sold out on some or all of the nights I need?

No, There is no designated “headquarters hotel” for the conference.  If the hotel you wish to stay at is sold out on some or all of the nights, please check availability at the other three hotels by visiting the hotel tab.

Where are the Conference sessions and Exhibition being held?

All conference activities beginning with the Exhibition Hall Grand Opening on Sunday evening will take place at the Tampa Convention Center unless noted otherwise.

What meals are included in the registration fees?

Committee Meetings on Saturday and Sunday include continental breakfast, am/pm breaks and lunch for attendees.
Conference and Exhibition meals included in the registration fees are continental breakfast, am/pm breaks and lunch.  No dinners, unless noted, are included in the fees.

What is the attire?

The attire for the educational sessions and exhibition hall is business casual.
The suggested attire for the Closing Night event is casual.
Please wear comfortable shoes and bring a light sweater or jacket as meeting rooms can be cool.  Please note that the average temperature in Tampa for mid-September ranges from a high of 89ºF/31ºC to a low of 74ºF/23ºC.  Please check the weather and plan accordingly.

What is there to do in Tampa?

Can I bring my kids to the conference?

ACI-NA meetings and events are intended for adults only and no children under the age of 16 are permitted to register or attend.  Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian while on the trade show floor.
