ACI-NA Educational Foundation Scholarships
ACI-NA is proud to announce that four professional development scholarships will be awarded to young professionals employed by ACI-NA members in September 2024. Don’t miss the opportunity to advance your career through scholarships for the U.S. Airport Professional (USAP) accreditation for employees of U.S. members and for the Canadian Airports Online College’s Diploma in Airport Operations and Diploma in Leadership Essentials for employees of members in Canada.
To qualify for a scholarship, you must:
- Be a young professional, 40 years old or younger;
- Be employed by an ACI-NA member;
- Submit an online application with the required materials;
- Submit a letter of recommendation from your ACI-NA Official Representative or senior organization representative; and
- Submit a personal statement, no more than 500 words, discussing your interest in an airport professional career.

CAC Gerry Bruno Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2016 in cooperation with InterVISTAS and is intended to celebrate the leadership and innovation of Gerry Bruno, the founding CEO of InterVISTAS Consulting and a respected leader in commercial airport management.
The scholarship is intended to foster similar qualities in tomorrow’s leaders. Mr. Bruno’s career in aviation has included government service, airport marketing and strategic planning, aviation policy and aviation consulting. Gerry’s approach to addressing problems and issues is always based on solid analysis, understanding the law and policy context of aviation in society, innovative thinking, and collaborative advocacy for the sector. Mr. Bruno has had a lifelong appreciation of the role of education throughout his career, earning two degrees, supplemented with airport-specific studies and accreditation.
Independently administered by the Canadian Airports Council (CAC), in cooperation with ScholarshipsCanada, this scholarship recognizes students with high academic achievement who are working toward a career in aviation management, planning, marketing and/or policy.
