The Kenton County Airport Board (“KCAB”) is soliciting proposals from qualified entities to supply hardware associated with Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station Hardware for use at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (“CVG”). As part of the Sustainability Master Plan, in addition to discussions with regional stakeholders, CVG has identified a need for EV charging infrastructure that is both CVG specific, but also available for public use. KCAB plans to provide multiple options for EV charging around the campus including, but not limited to, level two EV chargers and Direct Current Fast Charging (DCFC) chargers. KCAB intends to utilize a combination of funding sources for EV installation projects, including Capital; FHWA, State, and OKI grants; NEVI; and other various EV related infrastructure grant funding opportunities. The selected proposed entity will provide various electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) charging hardware options and pricing for KCAB. By soliciting competitive proposals for EVSE hardware, KCAB aims to secure the best possible value for CVG while maintaining a high level of service and reliability. The successful proposer will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient and safe operation of CVG, ensuring that essential services and equipment remain operational at all times.
