24 56 Ballistic and Tactical Vest

The Kenton County Airport Board (“KCAB”) is soliciting bids for Ballistic and Tactical Vest for use at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (“CVG”). The Airport Police Department prioritizes the safety of our police officers. One aspect of officer safety is providing ballistic vests that meet and exceed minimum national standards for ballistic protection, comfort, and wearability. The department is purchasing ballistic vests for patrol duties for those officers whose current vest is due to be replaced based on the life of the equipment and for all new hires who must be fitted and equipped with a ballistic vest. The department is also replacing the tactical vests for the Airport Special Response Team members due to the current vests expiring.
