The Kenton County Airport Board (“KCAB”) is soliciting proposals from qualified parties to finance and construct aircraft hangars and related vehicular and aircraft pavements at the Miami University Airport (“the Airport” or “OXD”). The property available for development at the Airport is approximately 10-acres in the northeast quadrant of the Airport with direct access to Fairfield Road and the airfield and is shown in Exhibit B, Future Airport Layout Plan, as the area surrounding future Buildings #114 and #115. KCAB intends to negotiate a ground lease with the successful proposer, subject to Miami University (“MU”) approval, which will serve as the basis for development, construction, maintenance, and operation of the aircraft hangars. KCAB reserves the right to negotiate any or all terms of the proposal, including length of the ground lease and rate per square foot.
