Wayne Harvey is Vice President, Operational, Technical and Regulatory Affairs for the Canadian Airports Council (CAC). He joined the CAC in June 2011.
Wayne is responsible for operations, safety, infrastructure, regulations and policy affecting Canadian airports. He serves as the committee secretary to CAC’s Council of Chairs, Operations, Safety and Technical Affairs (OSTA), Planning, Development and Infrastructure (PDI) and Financial Affairs committees.
Wayne has more than 30 years of experience working on national and international initiatives and programs, primarily within the aviation, aerospace and defense sectors. His experience includes program management, business development, marketing and sales within the industry. Prior to joining the CAC, he worked for the Canadian Council for Aviation and Aerospace and DRS Technologies in Ottawa, and CAE Electronics in Montreal.
Wayne is a graduate of McGill University, with a degree in economics.
