Biography

Pete Ricondo is a Senior Vice President with Ricondo & Associates, Inc. (Ricondo)—the ACI- NA’s only Strategic Partner since 2012. Ricondo is a recognized leader in the airport industry, providing airport management consulting, financial planning, strategic planning, and a broad range of specialized technical services to airport operators throughout the world.

Mr. Ricondo has nearly 30 years of comprehensive aviation-related experience in airport planning, programming, and conceptual design. He has provided general consulting, master planning, and strategic planning services for several commercial service and corporate aviation airports throughout the United States.

Mr. Ricondo served as the Airport Cooperative Research Program’s Principal Investigator for the development of the Guidebook for Strategic Planning in the Airport Industry. He also served as a senior faculty member for DeVry University, where he taught graduate-level courses related to strategic planning, project management, portfolio management, contingency planning, and risk management.

Additionally, Mr. Ricondo manages the firm’s operations, including the Benefits and Compensation Committees, the Human Resources and Information Technology Departments, professional training and development, quality assurance/quality control, and risk/yield management. He oversees the firm’s annual operating budget, implements cost-control measures,

and ensures staffing levels and skill sets are aligned with existing and projected workloads and client needs.

Mr. Ricondo is a Florida-licensed professional civil engineer and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Project Management.
