Biography

Patrick Wallace currently holds the position of Vice President, Business Development for Paradies Lagardère, voted the industry’s best airport retailer for 23 consecutive years. In this capacity he is responsible for generating new business growth in restaurants and retail as well as working cross- functionally with Marketing, Merchandising, Finance and ACDBE partners to assemble compelling responses to Requests for Proposals. Pat has contributed significantly to the continue growth and success of Paradies Lagardère over the past several years, helping the company to exceed $850M in 2018.

Throughout his 35-year career with Paradies Lagardère, Pat held General Manager positions in some of our country’s largest airports, Atlanta, Chicago and Detroit. In 1988, Pat was promoted to Regional Director based at the Support Center in Atlanta. In addition to his operational duties, he also had buying responsibilities for Publications, Travel Essentials and Electronics during which time he was voted Support Executive of the Year.

From 2004 through 2016, Pat served as Regional Vice President for 30+ airports in the Western US, driving sales of more than $275M while improving service and operating profit. Pat was instrumental in developing the system training and processes that resulted in the company’s industry-leading position as best retailer, retailer with the highest regard for customer service and best brand operator.

Pat holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in General Business Administration from Michigan State University and after completing a year-long management training program with JC Penney upon graduation, wisely made the move to airport retail, continually taking on greater responsibility with Paradies Lagardère since beginning his career with them in 1983.
