Monica Newhouse-Rodriguez is a Senior Aviation Executive with more than 20 years of experience in both the private and public sectors of Aviation.

Monica currently serves as the Managing Principal of Newhouse and Associates, LLC, a woman-owned DBE-certified Airport Consulting firm, which provides a wide range of expertise and experience in airport planning; environmental planning; and capital programming and management.

Monica is currently providing support to a number of clients around the country including: Miami International Airport, Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport, Chicago O’Hare International Airport, Sacramento County Airport System, Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport

Monica has served as the Deputy Executive Director of the Burbank Bob Hope Airport. In that role, she was responsible for the Airport’s planning, design and construction, information and communication technology, as well as all environmental programs. She also oversaw all aspects related to planning and environmental review of a replacement terminal. Other key projects included the feasibility evaluation of an international arrivals facility and conversion of the airport terminal to common use.

Mrs. Newhouse-Rodriguez has also served as the Assistant Director of Planning and Programming for the Houston Airport System. While at the Houston, her responsibilities included airport planning, preliminary design and environmental programs for the George Bush Intercontinental, Houston Hobby and Ellington Airports. She was responsible for successfully implementing Compatible Airport Land Use Planning Controls for the areas surrounding the Houston Airport System Airports. She also oversaw key planning projects including the renovation of the International Terminal at

George Bush Intercontinental Airport, as well as preliminary planning of an international facility for Hobby Airport.

Monica began her time at the Sacramento County Airport System as the Airport Noise Program manager and later grew into a senior executive position overseeing both Airport Planning and Environmental Divisions. During this time, Monica was responsible for the preparation of the annual Capital Improvement Plan, preparation of Airport Master Plans and Environmental Assessment and Environmental Impact Report preparation for planned development programs at the various airports within the system.

Monica has also provided consulting services for many airports around the United States and internationally.
