Airport Chief Information Technology Officer – LAS

The Clark County Department of Aviation is seeking an Airport Chief Information Technology Officer to plan, organize and administer a comprehensive information systems program for Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) and its sister General Aviation airports. This position oversees the development, implementation and maintenance of all information technology including operations and interface; and provides expert professional assistance to airport management staff in areas of expertise. Additionally, the position has oversight of the Department’s Cyber Security and ERP Program. The successful candidate will be accountable for directing the information and data integrity and managing the overall technology functions for the Clark County Department of Aviation and works to monitor and validate the airport’s compliance with the security policies including Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance. The incumbent works with Executive Management to evolve the department through the use of technological resources; using an active and practical approach, the incumbent will direct all employees in Information Systems to attain the department’s strategic goals established in the department’s strategic plan.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management, Computer Science, Business or Public Administration, or a field related to the work and six (6) years of senior level management experience in information systems development and operations.
  • Airport or other high volume 24/7 operating environment experience preferred.
  • Possession of an advanced degree in an appropriate field and experience in a large IT infrastructure environment are desirable. Equivalent combination of formal education and appropriate related experience may be considered.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $114,296 – $177,153. Salary may be negotiated above $145,724.80 based on qualifications and experience.
