The Central West Virginia Airport Authority is seeking an FBO General Manager – Aviation Services to apply the principles of management to all aspects of aviation services to oversee and provide superior customer services for all based, arriving, and departing aircraft. The position will be trained to perform all functions required to be provided through the FBO and to perform general supervision and coordinate all aircraft services to be provided to based and transient customers. The position will ensure that all resources are trained and are responding to customer needs. Additionally, the incumbent will also have primary responsibility for ensuring all transient aircraft are met with courteous service, passengers and crews are assisted in a timely manner, fuel is provided in a safe and timely manner, and that outbound aircraft are assisted expediently and safely. For based aircraft, the position will have primary responsibility that aircraft are handled properly with trained staff and that aircraft, equipment, and facility damage does not occur.
The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in:
- ground handling
- commercial airline handling
- fueling operations and management
- staffing/cost control principles
- fueling processes and fuel system management
Additionally, the candidate should have the ability to analyze financial data, fuel data, demand projection, and deal with based and transient aircraft customer service issues as they arise. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred or equivalent general aviation experience.
Salary & Benefits
