Airport Operations Supervisor

This is supervisory work coordinating the administration, operation and compliance of airside, terminal and landside activities to include the general oversight of public safety, airfield and terminal operations at St. Louis Lambert International Airport. Duties include assigning and directing the work activities of subordinate staff; assisting with FAA certification inspection and compliance and responding to airfield emergencies and incidents. St. Louis Lambert International Airport operates 24-hours per day, seven days a week; therefore, work involves rotating shifts, weekend work and holiday assignments. A Bachelor’s degree in Airport Management, Aeronautical Administration, Business or Public Administration or a related field, and, three years of full-time paid experience monitoring airport and communication center operations, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. A ten-year background investigation will be conducted in accordance with FAA regulations.
