The Airport Design & Construction (ADC) department is looking for a highly motivated individual with experience in the field of architecture and engineering in a Project Analyst role. Enjoy the flexibility of telecommuting on Fridays as you coordinate and contribute to project development, design, and delivery activities and:


1.     Provide strategic input for the development of processes, internal controls for project design, technical research, financial analysis, and scheduling; assist and facilitate programs, projects, initiatives, analysis, recommendations, and execution of capital projects; assist with oversight and ensure compliance of activities with mandates, laws, regulations, codes, and procedures.

2.     Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, track metrics, administer contracts and implement plans; coordinate, lead, and interface with stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and consultants; interpret and presents plan and project information.

3.     Provide analytical and technical support on projects; research and compile reports and other architectural and engineering documents and plans; navigate and complete contracting processes, documentation, and implementation; provide input and justifications for program and financial activities; interpret and apply mandates, laws, policy, and contract strategies; forecast, translate and track cost models, analysis, budget cycle formulation, contractual obligations, and management.

4.     Track project and program objectives and mandates; support and refine processes and operational designing and redesigning strategies, and synthesizes metrics


  1. Business Process Knowledge: Identifies, documents, and monitors processes and develops framework for processes and improvement.
  2. Communication: Proficiently exchange information through various avenues including verbal, digital, written, facilitation and persuasion.
  3. Critical Thinking: Critically reviews and translates business requirements, data and information to specify solutions or alternative practice in support of business objectives and strategies.
  4. Problem-Solving/Agility: Analyzes situation or factor and collaboratively generate alternative or solution, readily adapts behavior or new work methods, evolving and unexpected situations.
  5. Relationship Management: Builds and maintains relations with stakeholders, identifies and relates information, ideas and resolves problems.
  6. Leveraging Technology: Effective use of information electronically and associated systems.

Desired Education, Training and Experience:

·       Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, project management, construction management or a closely related field.

·       Two years of experience in an organization focused on architecture or engineering.

·       An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.


Possession of a California Architecture license is preferred but not required.


Depending on experience and qualifications, the hiring range is $60,000 – $75,000.
