An employee of this class is responsible for defining and implementing Ontario International Airport’s (ONT) environmental strategy. Incumbents in this classification report directly to the Director of Planning. The Environmental Planning Manager will be accountable for planning, overseeing, and managing environmental regulatory issues for all airport-related development to ensure compliance; identifies and champions development that advances sustainability initiatives and ensures the airport meets environmental goals; performs related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of increasingly responsible experience in environmental projects and programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Environmental Health, Environmental Science, Public Health Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and database programs.
  • Experience in aviation environmental projects and programs is highly desirable.


$92,700 – $127,308 Annually
