The Ogdensburg Bridge & Port Authority is seeking an Airport Manager for the Ogdensburg International Airport (OGS). Ogdensburg, a small city in New York’s North Country, sits on the bank the St. Lawrence Seaway looking across to Canada.  The Manager will plan and oversee the overall operations and maintenance of the airport and FBO.  The position both enforces, federal, state, and local regulations governing the airport, and recommends and implements additional airport policies and regulations. In collaboration with the Authority’s management and external consultant, coordinates grants for new equipment and other requisitions for purchases at the airport and recommends improvements for the airport’s infrastructure. Serves as the Airport Security Coordinator and maintains various plans including Airport Emergency Plan and the Airport Security Plan.

Minimum requirements include: Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management, Airport Operations or Management, Public Administration or closely related field and a minimum of two years airport operations/maintenance management.  This experience must include substantial experience with FAA Part 139 and TSA Part 1542.  Requires a valid New York State driver’s license.  Must satisfy all requirements to acquire and maintain Transportation Security Administration (TSA) security clearance.  Salary: up to $90,000 annually.  A detailed job description can be found at www.ogdensport.com
