Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport is currently recruiting to fill an Information Systems Analyst vacancy within the Airport Technology Services Section. This position is responsible for managing the airport’s Drupal 9 Content Management System, which currently provides passenger and business services through the flysanjose.com website and digital wayfinding touchscreens throughout the terminals. This includes designing and implementing new features and functionality, establishing, and guiding the architecture, ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the Drupal Content Management System. This position works closely with the Airport Marketing division, Operations Customer Experience team and other stakeholders to ensure effective and intuitive implementations. This position is required to be available for response 24/7 (beyond a normal workday and weekends/holidays.)

Education and Experience
A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field and four (4) years of progressively responsible professional/journey level experience, of which at least two (2) years of experience include lead technical work in development, implementation and maintenance of computer systems, or application development and/or support.
– Additional years of increasingly responsible directly related work experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
– Completion of a Master’s Degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one (1) year of the required two (2) years of experience which include lead technical work in development, implementation and maintenance of computer systems, or application development and/or support.
Required Licensing (such as driver’s license, certifications, etc.)
– Possession of a valid State of California driver’s license may be required.

Additional Salary Information: The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidate’s qualifications and experience. In addition to the starting salary, employees in this classification shall also receive an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation pay.
