The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) is seeking a highly qualified professional with demonstrated revenue development success and financial acumen to take on this key leadership role. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Vice President, Finance and Revenue Development position oversees and manages the Finance & Purchasing, Risk Management/Insurance, and Commercial Management & Airline Affairs departments. The incumbent is responsible for providing leadership in the development of people, strategies, policies and programs for all areas of oversight.

As a member of the MAC Senior Staff team, the individual selected for this position will be tasked with assisting the organization in maximizing its financial potential. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in financial management along with demonstrated ability to create new economic value for the organization through innovative and entrepreneurial strategies.

The Vice President of Finance and Revenue Development provides leadership for a variety of finance functions and activities, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, purchasing risk/insurance management and employee and retiree benefits. In addition, it leads several revenue-generating activities, including aeronautical and non-aeronautical properties and real estate, concessions programs for food, retail, news, convenience, auto rentals and airline lease agreements. The position also plays an important leadership role in other revenue generating areas of the organization, including parking and transportation – the largest non-aeronautical revenue source for the MAC.  The position also serves as staff liaison to the Operations, Finance and Administrative Committee.

The selected individual will be expected to introduce efficiencies through technology implementation and process improvement, and control costs by introducing appropriate financial strategies. Additionally, as a member of the MAC Senior Staff team, the selected individual will be the executive sponsor for the assigned enterprise strategic priorities for the organization and will have an active role in the successful execution of all strategic priorities.
