The Metropolitan Airports Commission is seeking a Badging Specialist to provide support to the Airport Police Department’s Badging Office. This position is responsible for providing daily security and access badging services to airport tenants, contractors, vendors, and airline personnel. Responsibilities include badge issuance, document verification, database and records administration, security training, financial transactions and reconciliation, and fingerprinting.

The Ideal Candidate – The ideal candidate will have experience providing quality in-person customer service and the ability to adapt to frequent interruptions while completing tasks with a high level of accuracy.

Status – This is a full-time, benefit eligible position. Typical work hours are Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.  Hours may vary slightly and may include occasional evenings or weekends as needed.

Pre-employment Background – The pre-employment background for Badging Specialist is very thorough and may require up to four weeks to complete.  Successful candidates must pass this comprehensive background check and be able to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) airport badge.
