The Manager of Environmental Affairs (EA) will, under the direction from the Vice President – Planning and Development, be responsible for administering environmental compliance for MAC owned facilities at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and the six reliever airports. The position is responsible for reviewing and monitoring compliance for tenant leasehold spaces. The Manager will be the key liaison with regulatory agencies, airlines and reliever airport commercial tenants regarding environmental matters for the MAC. This role requires close coordination with MAC Field Maintenance, Trades and other key departments as it relates to compliance activities. The Manager will assist in the planning, directing and coordinating of environmental activities at all MAC airports. As Manager of Environmental Affairs, this person has opportunities to create leadership in MAC’s sustainability efforts, coordinating closely with the Sustainability Manager and other divisions, and directing EA staff and consultants as it relates to Air Quality, Water Quality, Waste Management, etc. to make progress towards MAC’s adopted sustainability goals.
