The Department of Aviation seeks an experienced professional for the Airport Contract Specialist position in the Business Office division. This position performs professional current and advanced planning work; conducts planning studies, research and data analysis for Harry Reid International Airport and the four general aviation facilities in the Clark County Airport System and its future aviation facilities; prepares and/or contributes to airport master plan updates, airport layout plan updates, airport capital improvement plans, runway incursion mitigation studies, and airport improvement program grant applications and projects; assures compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) advisory circulars, regulations and development guidelines; serves as liaison with other County departments, local, state and federal agencies, specifically the FAA; collects and presents data through reports and formal presentations; provides information to the public in person, over the telephone, and in writing.
