Under the direction of the Director of Aviation, performs professional work to ensure compliance with all
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), State of Louisiana, East Baton Rouge City-Parish laws, rules and
regulations regarding airport management. Work involves the overall coordination of departmental
operations in the area of federal and state compliance. The incumbent is subject to twenty-four hour call
for situations needing immediate attention. Work involves the use of independent judgment within
established guidelines and is reviewed through written reports and conferences. May supervise clerical
support staff. Performs other work as requested.
